While many know Tom Cruise as a great actor, not many know that he is also a great investor. Over his career, he’s successfully invested in two production companies, Cruise/Wagner Productions and United Artists, selling both for a profit later on.

Cruise used those funds to purchase a massive home in Beverly Hills. The property that the Mission: Impossible star recently sold measures 10,000 square feet and has a huge pool in the backyard. It also features a tennis court with bright lighting as well as a large children’s playground. Once again, Cruise’s investment paid off since it was sold for $40 million, which is $10.5 million more than what he paid for it.

Mel Gibson – Malibu, Estimated $15 Million

While many recognize Mel Gibson as a legendary actor and director, few are aware of his savvy investments in real estate. Over the years, Gibson has diversified his portfolio by investing in various properties, including a stunning estate in Malibu.
